Homeward Bound Greyhounds

Homeward Bound Greyhounds is a non-profit, all volunteer 501 (C)(3) organization located in Southwest Florida.  We are dedicated to improving the plight of the x-racing greyhound by education, rescue, rehabilitation, and adoptions to loving homes.

Adopting a friend - we require an adoption application be completed and after the adoption is completed we require a signed adoption agreement.  After completion of the application a volunteer will contact you to do a house check and all references will be checked.  There is an adoption donation of $225.00 for the greyhound in order to defer some of the medical costs, which include the following: spay/neuter, all current vaccinations, ultrasonic teeth cleaning, and any needed dental procedures, CBC blood testing, heartworm check and first months heartworm medication, fecal check and any needed medication, a complete tick panel to test for the four different types of tick diseases, if needed and any needed medical treatment as a result of a positive test result.

ALL DONATIONS MADE GO TO THE GREYHOUNDS FOR MEDICAL/VET COSTS, FOOD, MEDICATIONS, BEDDING, AND DOG COOKIES! Donations of food or bedding are gladly accepted, please call and we can arrange for pick up.
